Modern Digital Collective (MDC) members, professional digital artists, including Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize and Infected by Art Book perennial finalists and winners, have advocated for the digital medium independently, both as a separate entity from AI generative imagery and as a valuable asset to collectors. Under Wacom influencer FAYBEL, the Canadian painter Ellie Nesbitt, as founder and lead director, the artists of MDC have united to continue their advocacy and to champion digital painting in fine art with a first digital painters only exhibition of its kind online with Poetic Tiger Gallery, USA, “We Are Digital”, opening in September 18, 2026. MDC’s members, from Czechia to Turkey, Finland and the Americas, have showcased their traditional digital art at an array of commercial and non-commercial galleries worldwide independently, encompassing MoMA, Nanny Goat Gallery, Arch Enemy Arts, Gallery Nucleus, Quirky Fox Gallery, Poetic Tiger Gallery, The Hive Gallery, Raven’s Gallery, Gallery 1988 and Curio Art Gallery, with clients from Ubisoft to Adobe, Wacom, Apple TV, Wizards of the Coast, Netflix and Prime Video.
